Stringed instruments, particularly violins, have been Dr. Semyon Kobets' passion for a long time, eventually becoming his vocation. Former International concert violinist and renowned violin professor, Semyon travelled many countries and continents selecting and buying fine, investment quality stringed instruments. During this time he examined numerous violins, violas, cellos and their bows including the finest examples by A. Stradivari and G. Guarneri "del Gesu". Semyon was fortunate enough to be guided by the world's leading experts on how to understand, appreciate and authenticate fine stringed instruments.

He is personally acquainted with many talented violin and bow makers in Europe and the USA and is able to supply carefully selected modern instruments and bows to his customers.
